LICEO MEET 2021: MAROON-BLOODED LICEANS BACK WITH A SPLASH

It was mid of March 2019 when we arrived home. Bearing many things in mind, uncertainties that scared us, the health crisis was mutating rapidly. However, traditional ways were no longer practice. We now embrace the virtual world —school, work, and including the most awaited event of the year, the Liceo Meet 2021, which was launched through a series of virtual activities from the Main to RNP Campus with a theme, "Sustainability and Competitiveness: The Licean Spirit Amidst Adversity."

The Trivia Night held by the College of Medical Laboratory Sciences department during the 18th day of October was a blast seeing that students from various departments get to spark their brains with the knowledge they will never forget. Despite being done virtually, the facilitators spare no expense for the audiences through the exquisite neon light feature. The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) did not miss the opportunity to host an event. The College of Arts and Sciences hosted the Spoken Poetry Competition: COVID-19 Pandemic for 13 candidates. On this day, it was a sensational prowess to our fellow maroon-blooded Liceans as the College of Teacher Education spiced up the first day with their K-pop Dance Cover Contest. One jam-packs live performance that has been catered by the department of Conservatory of Music, Theater, and Dance was the Battle of the Bands.

The opening program was successfully done with all the students' participation and their buzzing energy. Starting from the first down to the last activity, it was all fantastic. But wait, Liceo Meet 2021 will not end in just one day. Heads up, as we continue the day two celebration. We are prepared, and this event is all about you. Fight. Ignite. Keep the fire burning!
